Season Program (From May/June to November - depending
on seasonal conditions and park access) |

1 - Alice Springs to Banka Banka |
| Today
cross the Tropic of Capricorn then stop at Ti Tree for
the opportunity to purchase authentic Aboriginal art.
Next we stop at the Barrow Creek Pub to view the historic
Telegraph Station and then continue on to the Devils
Marbles. We travel on to Banka Banka Cattle Station
where we camp overnight (LD) |

2 - Banka Banka to Katherine Gorge |
| Call
in at the most famous outback pub at Daly Waters, have
a swim in Mataranka Thermal Springs. Late afternoon
we travel towards the magnificent Katherine Gorge for
our overnight camp. (BLD) |
| Day
3 - Katherine Gorge to Darwin |
| Spend
half a day at the spectacular Katherine Gorge (canoe,
cruise or helicopter ride at own expense) to appreciate
the vastness of the gorge system. After lunch we head
into Darwin via Edith Falls and Adelaide River. Overnight
dorm accommodation included. (BL) |

4 - Darwin to Mary River |
| See
the falls of Litchfield National Park before heading
to the Mary River Wetlands, home to a vast array of
bird life. This afternoon look for 'crocs' and other
abundant wildlife on our private river cruise. Enjoy
dinner at our overnight camp at Point Stuart Wilderness
Lodge. (LD) |
| Day
5 - Mary River to Kakadu |
| Our
first stop is Ubirr where we discover ancient Aboriginal
rock art and climb to enjoy picturesque views. We continue
on to Maguk (Barramundi Gorge), where we hike to the
plunge pools for a refreshing dip. Stay overnight at
our permanent camp within Kakadu NP. (BLD) |
| Day
6 - Kakadu to Darwin |
| This
morning we 4WD into the awesome Jim Jim Falls, hiking
to the base of the falls then continue on to Twin Falls.
Here we join a National Park operated boat and boardwalk
experience up the stunning gorge to the waterfall and
sandy bank. In the afternoon we return to Darwin, enjoying
the impressive scenery along the way. (BL) |

This is two individual tours joined together. You may
have a different guide and group for each section.
* Itinerary may vary according to Traditional Owner
& National Park requirements, seasonal conditions &
the closure of Twin & Jim Jim Falls. Attractions will
be substituted with others of interest
* Where accommodation is not available we reserve the
right to use another property of similar or better quality.
* Boat fee of $12.50 is payable on morning of departure.
* Safaris must be reconfirmed by 4pm the day before
travel.
